Challenge:
Cisco Systems technologies are changing daily life, even when we're not aware of the Cisco brand being present. Often times, functional products are taken for granted - as long as they function properly, making it difficult to create and maintain brand loyalty. To drive this point home to consumers and reinforce their brand identity, Cisco asked us to develop a platform that would engage with viewers. After reviewing Cisco's assets, we found their internal Eos social platform to be an adaptable vehicle for such a purpose.
Result:
Collaborating with Ogilvy and Cisco, we took the proven Cisco platform, originally developed for media and entertainment companies to the next level with added custom features. Focusing on the business use of Cisco's products, we showcased mainstream videos to let viewers see behind the scenes of such hit shows as NBC's "30 Rock". Here, they could see first-hand the important role Cisco technologies plays in the production of the show and provides a virtual destination for fans to watch, share, comment and rate all Cisco-related videos. All that, backed with a scalable content management system allows Cisco's internal marketing team to push new content quickly and easily.
