Challenge:
As a Cisco Systems preferred partner, The1stMovement was asked to create the first ever corporate iPhone App for this global technology company. Cisco's goal was to offer an application that allowed customers and channel partners to easily receive news and promotional offers, find Cisco events and partners, play videos and podcasts, receive security alerts, and get in touch with local Cisco support. Our challenge was to create the app on a rush schedule, working within strict brand standards and with no existing RSS feeds available.
Result:
Using the Apple human interface guidelines, we adapted Cisco's brand standards and icon system for a mobile application. Our programming team worked extensively with an existing mobile site to develop RSS feeds. Best of all, user rating for the Cisco iPhone App is four out of a possible five stars.
