Challenge:
When a global technology company's homepage is not being fully optimized for performance and speed, it doesn't go unnoticed. Cisco came to The1stMovement with a request to improve their homepage Flash module for better overall performance. After a long search for the right partner, we were selected to work closely with the Cisco team to develop a solution like they had never seen.
Result:
Working within complicated and deep legacy technology systems, we were able to build a faster, more flexible and much more scalable solution that would grow with Cisco's needs. We decreased file size and load time significantly to improve overall performance. Additionally, we developed engaging animation sequences to provide the emotional link between the brand and the user. With an overall load time decreased by 30% and a 12% time increase spent on page, it is no coincidence that these efforts brought us Cisco Preferred Supplier status. This assignment led to The1stMovement redefining the strategy and Flash standards across all Cisco online properties in over 40 countries worldwide.
